The new wallets are ready and we check and test them now with your help.
Everything is looking good at the moment. (not great but very good)
There are some issues we have to check with the Dev.
The biggest is the Blocktime. At the moment we have a Blocktime of one Minute. Target is two Minutes.
We are in contact and will fix it. For now please do not sell or buy coins from other people.
I don’t think we have to roll back to Block 500.000 and do all the work again, but for now please see this as the first test.
If you don’t have updated yet, please wait until we have news about this fix.

we wanted to make a wallet Update because of some issues we had in the past.
Our new wallet is now ready and we will start this new Blockchain in about two to three weeks from now. Because the protocol changed a lot we have to go to this new Blockchain. This is a complete upgrade (new base entirely) from the previous release.
All wallets will be credited in a 1:1 manner. If you have BRO on one address for which you own the private Key (in YOUR WALLET.DAT) you will also own the same amount of BRO on our New Chain.
For you, as a user, nothing will change.
The only thing you have to do, you will need to dump (export) your wallet into a dump file and import into the new wallet once it's released. Its very simple. No worries. Your Addresses and Keys stay the same. No one has access to them. We plan to release the new wallet at the beginning of May.
How to make a copy of your Wallet?
Open The Bitrad.io Wallet
Click on File
Click on Backup Wallet
Save the Wallet
It is important that when we reach BLOCK 500.000 please don't send or accept BRO as it could lead to potential loss as that is the date the snapshot is being taken.
We take all balances from BLOCK 500.000 and automatically send out your coins to the new Chain.

We will coordinate with Crex24 and also inform Tradsetoshi.
What are the next steps:
- Shutdown Payouts from Block 495.000
- You still earn BRO for listening Radio, but payouts will be disabled
- Starting the new Network (Blockchain)
- Waiting for Block 500.000
- Sending out ALL balances
- Compiling the New wallets for you to download it on our Website. (Windows, Mac, Linux)
- You are then able to import the secured file (wallet.dat)

today is our second Birthday. On 19.03.2017 Bitrad.io was going online. First of all, I want to thank you so much for being part of our Community and help us out by adding stations or helping other users understanding what Bitrad.io is and help us grow.
With this post, I want to give you a quick update on things we are working at the moment and things which are done until now.
1) Creating a new Content System for users
Admins, Moderators and some Users with a special status were able to edit and add radio stations for Bitrad.io since the start of the website.
To get a much better quality of radio stations in our database we want to roll out this feature to all user which have an account on Bitrad.io and want to help us adding and editing stations.
This Update requires a new structure of our database for the website Bitrad.io and our apps. This is the reason we don't have rolled out our Android app yet.
The Good News is... We are ready to roll this feature out today. We need a short downtime of the Website tonight from 22 UTC (roundabout). After this update of the database and a lot more code, we have improved we are also able to roll out the Android App.
It is possible that we have some bugs in this new version. But as you know we fix them all. If you find something please post it here and we will fix it as soon as possible. If you want to add or edit radio stations, please post your user ID in this threat. All User will later be able to do this. But for further testing, we need a small group of people first.
2) Android App
We are also ready to roll out the Android App in a few days from now. We have to test everything (we have changed) and plan to make it available in April 2019. We also have to upgrade the IOS App. This will also be done in April.
3) New wallet Version
We know we have some issue with our existing wallet. So we have to replace it and rewrite a lot of things. We also work on this over 5 months now. An exact date is not possible to address.
The great News: The new wallet software is in testnet and everything is working great. We want to make sure everything is running and we will test it some days more.
I am pretty sure we will roll this new wallet out in April as well.
4) Special 2. Birthday Promo
We will also do a special promo to celebrate our second Birthday with you. We will double payouts for one week. We will announce the date later this month. We want to have everything ready to do this promo. (New Content System, New Android App, Updated iOS APP, and the new wallet.) After we upgraded everything we will announce this special bonus for you all.
We are here to stay and hope you will support us as you did for the last two years.

But we have to find out what's fair.
A user which is investing time to get radio stations working will earn this premium more than a user which is buying it for 1 BRO. Let's see what we can do with this. But there will be free premium Accounts for all of you helping us creating this content.
2) Android App
We and some users of the community tested the Android app and there are a few bugs to fix. After rolling out the new content/radio station structure and feature we are ready to publish the Android app.
3) New wallet Version

the year 2018 is coming to an end and on behalf of Bitrad.io, I would like to say thank you for the confidence and the use of our page Bitrad.io.
A very special thanks to all admins. Without you, operating a site like Bitrad.io would not be possible. Thank you for the many hours you helped other users and answered questions.
I would like to use this post to tell you what exactly we intend to do in 2019. What are the goals for 2019?
- new wallet
We will completely revise the wallet code to provide a much more stable wallet software. New wallet design and new code.
We are already working on this and are making good progress, so I'm sure we will make this New Wallet available in 2019. If all goes well in the first half of 2019. (current assumption)
- Android Radio Player
In Q1 2019 we will make the new player available for all Android devices. Then next to iOS we also have Android as a radio player.
With these versions, we can reach over 96% of all smartphone users.
- Content (new radio stations and revision of current channels)
In Q1 2019 we will provide a possibility for users to add new channels to our database and to edit current channels.
At the end of 2019, we would like to make a large number of channels available for you all.
With the help of the community, we can become the largest radio station platform in the world by 2019.
However, here we need the help of users to make this possible. Our goal is to be the portal with the most stations worldwide by the end of 2019. (not by users using it but by content)
- New exchanges
In 2019, we will offer more opportunities to trade BRO. Further stock exchanges will follow.
- New front-end design
For the Q4 2019, we would like to introduce a new responsive design for the website Bitrad.io. Complete revision of the frontend.
Furthermore, we still have one or the other new feature that we want to test.
Thank you all for the great and successful year 2018. And I'm looking forward to an even more successful year 2019. We are here to stay and become the largest radio site in the world. That's our goal. We do our best to reach this goal.

today we have a new feature for you all. As you know we still work on the Android version and are very close to the release.
We decided to create a new feature before we release the Android app. We now have our own Mining Pool for BRO. HYPE!! :D
BRO is a POS (Proof of Stake Coin) so we cant mine BRO directly. But what we can do is mining other coins, convert these earnings into BRO und buyback BRO from the earning.
With this feature, we are able to create buying Power on the BRO token and this will also help the price of BRO to grow to a higher level.
If you have mining equipment like Asics or just a graphics card, from now on you are able to earn even more BRO with Mining.

3. Android App
We still work on the Android app and made huge steps to get it released in Q1 2019. I also want to show you the actual alpha in this Video. Soon we will be ready for the opened Beta and we will invite you to test the App.

4. Masternode Shares
We will add two new master nodes to our website this weekend. We will publish It in the News section of our website when they are online.

5. New Wallet Software / Blockchain
We will move the Bitradio Blockchain to a new technology in December and January 2018. The result will be a much better and faster Wallet, syntonization and stable more Masternode Network.
We work hard on it to get it done. We will publish more information about it as soon as we are ready to switch to this new Version of the Bitradio Wallet / Blockchain.
One Example: You can run it stable on a Raspberry Pi with 1 GB of Memory. New features will be possible with this new Codebase. (IOS and Android Wallet f.e)

At the moment the wallet.dat of this client uses a huge amount of CPU and RAM. We have to change something on the client and Website to fix this.
We will work on thin the next day. It is not so simple to fix it so it takes a little bit longer.

today I want to inform you about the things we made in September until now.
1. New Feature News
At the moment we don’t have a single point for users to inform them about the news we have. Some users are only on Telegram, some are following us via Twitter and other go to our Forum.
A lot of users don’t know if we implement something new or have news for you (Example payout engine is not working) Dice down etc.
We can't and don't want to inform you via email because nobody likes a lot of emails. So we have to implement a feature to the website where users which want actual news will get them.
This Weekend we will implement a News page on Bitrad.io. Every user can have a look at it an get the latest news.
-> We will also inform you if we have updated some stations or added some stations.
-> We want to keep you informed when we have issues or bugs on the Website.
-> Users see the news on our site and don’t have to switch to different channels to get information
This was a big issue in the past and we fix this lag of information this weekend.

3. IOS Promo
Every user which is downloading the iOS App, start it and listen to radio will get a special Bonus paid in BRO.
We will add this Promo in a different post where users can post their User ID. At the end of the year, we will payout the BROs.
This is one Idea to get more Users on our Free iOS App. So if you have an iOS Device download our free app here. And you are able to join this Promo.
Detailed information will follow. We have app-. 4000 ìOS Downloads at the moment. One of our competitors already has 28 million downloads. It's a big market we can grow into.
And Android is also in the Pipeline.
4. Master nodes Shares
We fixed the issues we had with master nodes. We created a script which is checking every minute if the master node is up and running. If a master node (our 40 shared master nodes) is going down for some reason, the script is restating it immediately. We also plan to do automatic payouts for the master nodes so there will not be a delay anymore. We plan to do these automated payouts every week. But let us check if it is possible without issues. We plan to roll out this feature in Q1 2019.
We will also add some New Master nodes in Q4 2018 and Q1 2019
5. Roadmap
We also have created a Roadmap for the next months and I want to share it with you. This is a living roadmap. A plan. Not sure if we can make it in this time.

6. Content - 2019 will be our year of Content
Today we have over 210,000 registered users. Over 20,000 users use our site on a monthly basis. We are sure that we will grow significantly in the year 2019, as the majority of our users have "only" found us through forums such as Bitcointalk and other Crypto sites.
By expanding the content (more radio stations and a faster updating of the channels) we are listed higher in search engines and reach so many more users. For this step, however, it was necessary to offer the pages in several languages. This feature is now successfully implemented. Additional Languages are also planned for 2019.
We will develop a feature where users can add new channels, update channels. We want to be the Website with the most listed radio stations. (Worldwide), I know this is a huge step. But with this userbase we can reach this goal very fast and i think maybe within a year.
Users receive BRO for this task. How exactly the distribution and how many additional BRO will be distributed to the users who help us to update and add stations will be announced. We will not lower the payout rate for listeners. No additional coins are generated. We will either repurchase coins or pay out part of the remaining 5 million coins to the users, who help us to create the largest radio database worldwide.
We will also use an API from Shoutcast to add more functional channels to our website. Update station logos and add descriptions to the stations. For this, we need users from November onwards who want to help build the largest radio station database in the world. We will inform you when this feature is available and how you can help if you want. If you have ideas about how we should distribute the coins. How can this work? Wich functions you need for this. Please let us know and post it in the comments.
7. Trademark
We have invested a lot of money to protect the name Bitradio. This step is important for the future in order to be able to take legal action against the use of the Bitradio brand. This also applies, for example, to domain names with the name BITRADIO. I know that this step will not help to increase the price of BRO. I just want to show you that we are here and will stay here and are far away from being another dead crypto project.
